Pan Pacific Masters Road Championships

Outstanding results achieved by CATS riders at the 2012 Pan Pacific Masters Road Championships in all events. 

The Individual Time Trial was held at Currumbin Valley on Friday with bronze medals going to Brian Collier 55-59 and Ken Cunningham in the 45-49 age category with strong representation from Gary Carroll 35-39, Kelvin Ross 40-44, Shaun Hovey and Adrian Stubbs 45-49, Paul Hawker 50-54 and Peter Graham in the 60-64 age category. 

The Road Race was held at Pimpama with a competitive field of 12 CATS riders competing across all age categories.  Congratulations to Mark Weightman winning gold in the 55-59 age category and silver medalists, Juan Navarette in the mens 45-49 age category and Lauralea Moss in the womens 30-34 age category.

The Criterium was held at our home course at Nerang where the CATS juniors and parents hosted the canteen for the final day of the Pan Pacific Masters Cycling Championships.  Another swag of medals to our masters riders including gold again to Mark Weightman 55-59 and Mark Gibbs in the 45-49 age category.  Lauralea Moss took her second silver medal in the womens 30-34 and Dave Boe won bronze in the mens 50-54 age category. On belhalf of everyone in the club, congratulations to all our Masters riders who participated and held the flag high for the CATS.
